Message	Brand name dynamat is one of the most amazing rip offs ever. If you want to get the exact (!) same stuff, go to [ www.mcmaster.com, ] search for "sound absorber" in the left hand side. Click on page 3270 under sound absorber/barrier combinations. Scroll down to: Adhesive-back damping sheets You want the polymeric-mastic type. This is EXACTLY dynamat (check out the techincal specs... 0.070" thickness, same construction, even the same color and weight) Now check out the price: for a 32" by 54" piece: $14.62 !!!!!! The cost of the same size piece of dynamat is $69.95 FOR THE NAME They almost quintuple the price by sticking their name on it.
